Living in a city with such close and easy access to some beautiful spots. Like Waiheke.
Making feel good food
The girls going back to school, happily. What's so good is the two of them have the best teachers that I am so excited and looking forward to this year for them all. A bonus is that on mentioning my severe distaste of Duraseal the teacher waved me off and said not to worry, its easier for her that all the books look the same. I love ya Emma! xx
What I don't love are appointments at North Shore Hospital, any time. What I do love is when I come away feeling listened to and encouraged. I met with another doctor who is keen on seeing me in 4 months with a view to having the first of my annual MRI scans of my chest area and talking about RECONSTRUCTION! The great news is that in the last year the government has put $8 Million towards breast reconstruction to reduce the waiting lists. So the list is coming down and they want me to be on it as soon as Herceptin finishes in June. This is super duper encouraging as I was imagining this would be much further down the track that it appears it might be. I can't wait for new boobies!
These guys...
My not at all camera shy kids, and not at all camera shy nephew. Geez I love 'em!
